Zero Invasive Predators Trial in South Westland

NEXT supported environmental initiative ZIP has had some great success in a predator eradication trial in South Westland. The aim was to rid the area completely of rats and possums using a modified method of aerial predator control. The results could mean toxins like 1080 may only need to be used once if areas can be defended from reinvasion.

Check out the results and a video on the trial in this report from ZIP.
