The biggest urban rat elimination project in New Zealand has been rolled out in the Miramar Peninsula in Wellington.
More than 6,000 traps and bait stations are being installed across the Peninsula, as part of the initiative for Wellington to become the first Predator Free capital city in the world. It is one of the initiatives NEXT Foundation supports.

Predator Free Wellington Project Director James Wilcox talked to Radio New Zealand’s Jesse Mulligan about the groundbreaking project.
