Predator control networks around the braided rivers of South Canterbury is helping some of the endangered bird species have a better chance of survival.

The trapping network, which is part of the Te Manahuna Aoraki environmental initiative NEXT invests in, is helping endangered species like the kakī/black stilt and the tarāpuka/black billed gull. Robyn Janes produced this video.
