Kiwis granted exemption to travel to Rotoroa Island

Four kiwi chicks and their handlers were granted a Covid travel exemption to travel to Auckland – where they have been released onto the wildlife sanctuary, Rotoroa Island.
Rotoroa Island is one of NEXT’s environmental initiatives. It’s a predator free sanctuary used as a creche for kiwis and other endangered species. Read more.
